Nice when customers don’t tell you something really important.

Happened more often than you'd think. Especially the harleys... my boss actually closed the door to harleys after a couple nightmare cases. He said there were enough shops dedicated to them, we didn't need to do it.

Go for it, if you have a paint gun. I know just the toner for Inferno Orange was quite expensive though locally, like 60+ bucks a quart, and had to be constantly agitated to keep the pearl from settling. Not sure about the super white. Something to keep in mind.

i think white is the one color that you can get away with if you dont have much paint experience. My buddy had a newer leased BMW that he needed to return. The dealer was going to ding him a bunch of money to fix some chips and scuffs on the rear bumper. He taped it off, sprayed it with white Duplicolor, did some sanding, a coat of clear and it looked perfect. The guy doing the walkaround didn't notice shit when he turned it back in

Thanks! Yep, 265/70. There were two small mud flaps on the front side of the front tires, under the bumper. I guess that's what they are anyways. At almost full lock and reversing the tires would catch them. Pulled them off and no issues now.

Well, considering the trucks mileage and overall condition, the paint won't match the truck anyways. My clear coat is toast and I've got tons of dirt/something imbedded in the paint that I can't get out. Really the whole truck needs a new paint job. So I figure as long as it's close, it'll be good. 3C31FD63-F91A-410A-9158-0534E387B2FD.jpg

Yeah I had that problem too. I think its pretty common. I pulled all the mud flaps off though, they are rigid and catch/break on rocks

I think it just depends on the tire, wheel, alignment and the tolerance differences between individual rigs.

In my case, the 265/70 Bridgestone Dueler H/Ts and stock Sport wheel (17x7.5, 30 mm offset) have zero rubbing anywhere.
