    I'm actually out of touch with a lot of it these days. It was more when I was young. But I still appreciate it.

    @PennSilverTaco

    Charlie, do you want to take over OP duties on the annual Christmas tree build thread this year? It will be the 7th annual. I usually open it up the 1st week of November to get people primed and bump it every 2 or 3 days until it gains traction.

    I ask because I just don't have the time that I used to (not that it takes much effort) and you seem really into it.

    I'd be honored; Gonna have to start the thread with my truck rather than the tree though because I always decorate my truck the weekend after Thanksgiving, but decorating the house is always a royal pain in the ass because it's my parents' house and we all have conflicting schedules!

    This thing literally retails for what my truck cost new in 2009; We use it to tow our Teros unmanned aircraft around the facility...

    Actually, I decorated my truck like two weeks early in 2021 because I thought the new frame wasn't coming until mid-December and I thought I would have to undecorate it; My frame ended up arriving two weeks before Thanksgiving, the dealer didn't make me take the lights off, and I got my truck back before Thanksgiving, so I still would have been just fine if I decorated the truck the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving!

    When the time comes just look over my opening statement in the 1st post. You can mimic that in your own words. As always, it's open to all things Christmas/holiday

    :thumbsup:

    I used to like making jokes about electric bills being higher than mortgage payments, but after talking with the owner of a roughly 1,900 square foot house who put Clark Griswold to shame and learning that his electric bill was nowhere near his mortgage payment, I don't think that joke makes much sense anymore...

    Mike may be untriggerable. But it can still irritate him some, I'm sure
