Management at most work places say that cameras and the monitoring on conversations, are for the safety and the protection of the employees. But, they prohibit the employees from recording them in any way, shape or form.

I've actually asked for cameras to be put up outside of our shop and even inside due to the nature of some "employees" we get. Not to mention the risk of things damaging our vehicles outside the shop. My toolbox isn't chained to the floor yet, so I wouldn't mind having a camera keeping an eye on our thousands of dollars of tools and equipment.

I hope so. They are a whole lot meatier than I originally thought. Hopefully they'll last me a while and do good in the snow. I can probably stretch out tires for the 3rd gen another year now. Just take the 2nd gen in snow...

Then the cameras should be placed to monitor 'everywhere' and 'everyone'. Fair is fair. Things can happen anywhere at a workplace. Not just where the lower level employees work.

The world is full of cameras, and l accept that. But for some reason in the work place management doesn't feel the need to be monitored themselves.

Those are the 4S version? My Discoverer AT3 LT's do great up here in the Maine winters.

I put on Coopers as well, the Rugged Trek. Great on snow and rain over theKO2 but a bit noisy over time. They also dont wear as evenly as my old K02.

That's comforting to know. Weighing my undercoating options on this one. While it had the frame recall done with the whale jizz looking stuff there's some surface rust here and there, but nothing near like my 2009 was. Might go with a heavy dose of Wool-Wax on this one since there's existing surface rust.

Honestly, in my career, there has been only one douchbag that 5 fingered someone else’s tools.
It was a 1/2” drive ratchet. Guy said it was a joke. Well we shamed him enough he quit 2 weeks later.
We couldn’t prove it was theft because the 2 were bantering and moving shit on each others boxes.
Guys would leave table full of tools on their benches during a major job.
I never did but, I forgot some stuff around the alignment machine and 2 weeks later I remembered
And walked over and right there.. of course you would borrow something and the guy would forget and a week later I’d go over and give the guys shit. “I brought that back” then , oh fuck, sorry.
I would write down his name on a piece of paper cause I have a lot of special stuff.
Never had to worry about theft.
I lost more crap in my career I could have built a small box for a newbie.
