With the price of gas and other things, I can't afford to replace the freemium mower just yet. Making it work between this and the eager beaver.

 

I was referrering to the blades. Those can probably be bought cheap...

 

Oh trust me, the blades is putting lipstick on a pig. The self propelled drive only works on one side, and it sticks on. The other side locks up if it's not engaged. It desperately needs to be put out of its misery, but I'm not that kind.

 

Guess I'm spoiled with a fairly new riding mower and new Honda self propelled push mower. Plus all the new 2 stroke stuff

I was mostly glad to get the interior cleaned up. It hadn't been cleaned since a couple of weeks before the Yaris went down with the rotted rear end. So however long that had been

 

Sometimes it's just a matter of pulling the drive wheel and freeing up the little ratcheting gear that engages the wheel's ring gear. They sometimes get a bit gummed up

 

We just finished up a quiet little cookout with just the 4 of us. Nice and pleasant. Firepit in a little while.
