Nah, just male and female by the look of it. Dog ticks. Pulled them off my clothes and stabbed em.

Nope, one of our valve sites. Notorious for em so we knew to be checking constantly. Damned things were crawling up the walls n shit. So gross. Need some pipeline chickens. Get them little hard hats and safety glasses and let em loose.

Worked on my junk today at the airboat shop. Got my intercooler installed. Will fab the piping next Monday.

Well, things are happening real quick here. Within an hour of arriving at the house, my pops and I took down the back wall of my garage. It was so quick I didn't get a before picture!

What you see left is all that the previous owner put up for framing to hold three sheets of plywood as a wall. We're going to anchor some PT to the slab for a footer and properly do 16 on center studs with osb for the structure. Then weather proof it with some metal siding/roofing.

Edit: found a "before" pic from when we first bought the place, before they got their stuff out of the garage. EB60EBFD-AACB-40A0-8424-C50790C1DA3B.jpg

Serious question, what is your ultimate goal with all this you’re doing to the boat

I'll let you come play with the tics and skeeters... them the badlands back there, we don talk about that place.

In reality, solid ground only goes back about four feet behind the garage, and there's very dense shrubbery around both sides so it does me little to no benefit to clear it. Maybe someday I'll bring in a dump truck and fill it all in...

I'll only panic if it trades places with my taco on Jack stands.

In all seriousness that would be a pretty cool vacation IMO. Alas, I don't travel well so any vacation is just a stay-cation for me :pout:

My Lycoming 6 cylinder engine is air cooled, but the center cylinders run hotter being sandwiched between the other cylinders. Right now with no intercooler the IAT (intake air temps) run around 150-160. The intercooler will knock this down to 85ish. I also will fab a shroud to pull cool air up through the cylinders that will help keep the center cylinders cooler as well. My shroud will look similar to the one below sitting on top of the engine.
