There's always a body wrap option. For the Corolla, that is.

And a very light material... BTW, Woven carbon fiber is passe' because stitched Cf is stronger. (The bends in the woven material are stressors.)

20220826_112838[1].jpg 20220826_113021[1].jpg 20220828_063733[1].jpgArrived home at 6:45 p.m. after departing Port Angeles. WA yesterday at 9:30 a.m. Overnighted in Auburn on the way west, as my eldest suggested, but the next morning 'Team Garmin Dave' calculated, cajoled, recalculated my route to the Seattle ferries. Fortunately, the young (they all are) lady at the entry provided great advice to depart on the Bainbridge Island ferry, a shorter trip, shorter drive, and senior fare. When I headed home, I had the paper atlas and gave Dave a workout! Tacoma Narrows Bridge toll $6.25, and I made one stop for gas (Ellensburg, WA, $4.99 for 89 octane, cash discounts help) and a rest area stop to stretch, have an apple and water, look around at the scenery. My SIL is attending Fire Academy at North Bend, and my first grandson was 6-weeks old Sunday!
Douglas the cat adopted Wyndham Hotels Super 8 at Olympic National Park in May 2016, when he escorted the night auditor on her evening rounds. His owner agreed that Douglas' noble purpose is to serve this place, so he has food, water, and a cot outside the front door where he meets guests (and treats are welcome). I thanked staff members often, as this is likely the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
So good to visit my kids and grands this month, and see new country and legendary fly fishing rivers. Have to train my cat and his staff (me) to travel and camp together with Barcelona Red...
This PC/Android phone guy is, to paraphrase the Dr. Strangelove movie title, "How I Learned to Love the iPad." (I have the SD card reader with Lightning cable for use with the DSLR.) I finally finished reading the book from my friend, fellow fish biologist, boonie rat brother, and best-selling author of The Old Crocodile Man Theory: A Novel of Murder, Mystery and Monkey Business, Philip Hunsicker. (website is triple w, his name, dot com) Since my kids will wind up with all my stuff, I had them choose what they wanted from Dad's and Mom's household estate inventory. (I have plenty so I cut out the middle man.)
