    Yea the Subuwu (just for you Pat :D) has something similar. It has built in fake shift points. Takes a little bit getting used to, but honestly I don't hate the CVT as much as I thought I would. You can put it in "2" for easier starting in the snow.

    But also its disadvantages. Last free oil change at the dealer they got greasy prints on my door, oil all over my skid plate, and dickered one of my center caps on my wheels. I think the 25K one is free (glorified tire rotation), but I'm not going back. Really soured my experience; they used to be really good, but I guess with everything going on... I can rotate my own tires when I do the 5K oil change...

    Yea, probably gonna order a 3 5qt pack of Valvoline 5w30 from Walmart for the Tacoma and Subaru. Both are supposed to take 0w20, but ehhhh. Not only that, but the flat 4 in the Subaru is known to drink oil...

    Oh yea, I woulda never considered it if I didn't think it would be ok. Also found a suitable oil filter for the Sub. The factory filter is pretty damn chincey, but has a special bypass PSI. Wix makes one just for Subaru's with the correct bypass pressure. Gotta order a couple of those here soon.
