Yes, technically. aggregate producer. Sand pit basically. P gravel, concrete sand etc. For construction and landscaping. They do some blasting, and as an industrial category, it's considered mining.

I sell pumps and they're not getting the volume at the pressure they need at the top of that tower. pulling from the pontoon on the pond.

This is what you do when you took playing in the sandbox seriously.

Old roommate and I had a friend over who kept complaining his beer was warm. We had to point out that he would open it, then stand there holding it for a half hour without drinking it.

Installed Hushmat insulation in the left side door yesterday afternoon, including the microfiber cloth bath, rinse, dry, cutting, fitting, sticking and rolling. It's been about two weeks so it was time for the Mal'bu to get topped off with a half tank and go back in the garage so Barcelona Red can come out in the rotation for the first checkout of door insulation and the Wisconsin antenna. "It really, really works!" Better radio reception, and sound from the door speakers. Tomorrow: fingerprinting, background check and filing the new hire packet at the school district office (Google service is down today, but Skyward was still working... Computer culture still reminds me of "waiting for the waffle light, or the toaster to pop up.") and longer trips across town to see if the radio interference at traffic lights and other areas has eased with this copper coil antenna that doesn't vibrate loose.
I'm thinking about insulating the rear access cab doors, which may be easier, but I'll wait, since to paraphrase Disraeli (or someone else), "I think, therefore I am" (often wrong, or in need of additional thought).

Mornin folks, second to last day and they had me come in at 4 am to do an estimated 14 hour bearing replacement. Got up at 2:30 because coworkers said "oh yeah we'll be there at 4 to help." Needless to say, it's just me and our 5 ton overhead crane here. image.jpg

Nah, turned my speaker all the way up as soon as I walked in the door since I knew I'd have the whole place to myself for awhile.
