    @BananaMan

    You're a damn jinx! I fired up the oil boiler for the first time this season. Fired up without issue, circulated water through both zones just fine. I looked inside the little window to view the flame and the damn fire box is slowly starting to decay... However, it's repairable and around $500-$600. Mine is an all steel boiler so it is in pretty good shape otherwise... Gonna nurse it along through this winter.

    Yaris' rear subframe dropped out (literally) so he gave her his wife's "old" Corolla and the wife got a new one... Bill fixed the Yaris and has been using it.

    Only $10,000 in overnight parts from Japan.....

    :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

    Nah, we don't deal in anything that expensive. Most expensive part I've replaced in whole is a $3500 rear end in an electric tugger. Wish I could share that picture on here for you, but those damn social media guidelines forbid me...

    @Delta09 on the plus side, it's all installed and should last for the next 30-40 years. Also threw in the latest high efficiency burner, so with the cold start furnace, no hot water loop, it should work out pretty well for our needs.

    Yea I think a new liner should get some more years out of mine. I'll keep an eye on it. It's one of the better Burnham's. I ordered two new digital thermostats as the old round styles are not cutting it. I love how the master has its own heating zone.

    The AC is on its last legs as well, been nursing that one along too. Should I have investigated everything a little closer before purchasing, yea probably. But it wouldn't have changed the price on anything, so it is what it is...

    If I had known the Quonset hut wasn't powered... I would've knocked 10k off my offer. We thought it was heated and powered but couldn't check because they left it locked for our showing.
