Funny you mention it, I did put a second ratchet strap on it. Got it jump started and let it run for a half hour, hopefully it behaves. Also got a water sprayer since I'm dual driving today, those tires are gonna get hot...

 

Try not to spray the tires if you can help it.
Unless you have something to measure temp you could be hurting yourself.

 

Gotta buddy who had been auto-xing since 1988. He says he has a special calibrated hand when measuring tire temps.

I've gotten up so early for so many years it's hard to sleep late. I can usually manage to stay in bed till 6ish on the weekends

 

I can understand that.
I would build rear ends and transmissions without a torque wrench. That’s why when I see people using torque wrenches for drain plugs, spark plugs, random bolts, etc and they ask what the torque spec I always say, “What’s a torque wrench” lol.
I would win bets all the time (50, 100 bucks) when the new “super tech” would start and question my
procedures. The older guys would ask “You bet with Mike?. Hope you have 100 bucks on you. I never lost..

Funny you say that. That same guy (the one with the red RX-7 FD) will occasionally use a torque wrench on something critical....but almost never on anything else. He has the 12" long, 1/2" drive ratchet that he uses when installing the lug nuts on wheels. He said he's used it for so many years that he knows exactly how much to torque to apply when tightening them.

PJT sent me a tractor trailer full with all the oil he changed in 6 months.
It’s all great oil as it all only has 1000 miles on it.
I have no room for it but I much appreciate the offer.
