That's the only thing I can think of. I was momentarily crapping a brick since the wife and I haven't gotten winter tires on yet. And we're both on toasted all seasons.

Just got off the phone with the chevy dealer about my work truck: Left LCA was about to let go, sway bar links were trashed, needs new f & r rotors and pads (just had new ones put on 15k ago and they warped in a couple months with zero towing), theyre throwing plugs and wires at it to see if it stops the CEL, and the coup de grâce.. Its getting a new transmission because they found chunks of metal in it. LOL
74k miles on the last one, this one didnt even make it 35k miles. Transmission #3 at 109k miles with zero towing. “Like a rock”

This piece of shit is in every 4-5k for its services and oil changes (fleet truck, we dont have a choice). Assuming the shop we’ve been using gives zero fucks and are gun decking their checklists. Ive been bitching about the slipping transmission and loose/shitty handling since last year. ‘We dont see anything, trucks get like that’. Okay boys.

I kinda understand the control arms/sway bar because of all the dirt service roads you end up on. But the brakes and trans, is just wtf.

Not yet, but I'm hearing $300.00 or so. That's probably a catback and I don't need all of that.

My .02 is if the muffler is going, the hanger areas are probably getting a bit thin as well. Might as well do the whole section and be done with it, nice and simple and oem, good to go for another 10 years.

That's exactly what happened to the guy who bought my TRD cat back a few years ago. He had a muffler with a hole. But once he started really looking at it he realized the whole thing was sketchy.

Tranny is covered under warranty I guess. Ordering my new 3/4 ton at 120k miles. Should be able to squeak another 10-20k miles in before it’ll need a 4th tranny.
