    Good Morning, crew.

    Wondering, any of you that tow, do you use the EZPass? What's the deal on that? Just drive through the auto lanes and it registers the third axle and charges you or do you need to hit the manual lanes?

    I wouldn't know. I would hit the manual lanes 1st. Maybe someone can advise you for future toll gates.

    I've only used the automated ones that zap your plate and send you the bill. But never towed using it

    I've been running around the country with EZPass (actually iPass from illinois, but they're the same) for over 15 years now. Just never towed....

    EZpass site indicates it counts axles, so I'll assume that's it.

    After shedding a few tears and a bunch of expletives and yelling, then having my husband do the husband thing and call the dealership for me, the Tundra is being picked up today by the carrier and delivered Thursday (supposedly).

    Long story longer: They cashed my check for the truck last week, dragged ass and just now got around to snail-mailing the paperwork for me to sign, total amount on multiple sheets of the paperwork is over $600 more than the agreed upon OTD price. Call them for new paperwork and they blame the finance guy (yeah right). Mind you I told them early last week that the carrier was set to pick up after the 16th, they had a week to do this and I didn't get the paperwork until today. Well as luck would have it, a carrier called this morning saying they could pick the truck up today at 3pm..

    Called the dealership asking them to fax or email the paperwork where the truck is paid for and the carrier is coming. "We cant do that, needs to be physical paperwork and we cant release the truck to the carrier".. I.. fucking.. lost it.

    Weasel sales guy kept telling me there's nothing they could do and kept saying the manager was busy when I asked to speak to him. I called my husband in tears and he asked for the number to the dealership. He's from Moscow and has a way with words.. and people.. and within 5 minutes all of a sudden they are magically going to release the truck. They already cashed my god damned check so that's the least they could do. What a bunch of absolute god damned amoebas working at this place. But at least my Tundra should be on its way this week. I pray this is the last vehicle I ever have to buy because I am not going through this bs again..

    End rant.:annoyed::)

    It's amazing to me...automobiles....EVERYBODY needs a car, they're everywhere, yet, consistently, this is the shit you hear, how adversarial dealerships are to people.

    Glad you got it done. Hope it arrives safe and sound

    My brother in law lives in Chicago. So all his vehicles have EZPass. But he wouldn't know how to tow anything if he had too. No point in me asking him :D
