Mornin peeps. Went and checked out a turbo taco, but ended up passing on it. Needed far more work than I wanted to put into it. How's everyone else's morning?

 

Cleaning and vacuuming the boiler room.

 

Sounds about as fun as taking out the trash on an icy driveway

 

Have to make room and organize to get our blowing up furnace replaced with a new one before the weather gets to cold, and a hybrid hot water heater. If I can afford it…

 

We're doing our Thanksgiving here at the house today, so up and moving around for that.


Gotta grab some coolant for the Jetta and will add some when it gets here.

 

You have a Jetta? What inspired that poor purchase?

It's grandmothers, but in our name as well in case we have to take the keys. So, I don't get to drive it really, but pay to fix the damn thing as it will be mine in a couple years. Not letting it go to complete shit like the Jeep.

It's a 2016 with the 1.4T and like 90K. My past two VW's needed a little top off when it got cool outside.

Still better than the Jeep Liberty she had...

Happy first Sunday of Advent... Blustery night, and I was the first to arrive at 1st Pres in the dark (later than usual about 0645) so fortunately I have a LED pocket light so I could kinda see to put in the combination for the key box to unlock the door a turn off the alarm, just as more of the tech team arrived. When we left (about 1145), the custodian and I had to look over the new FourRunner in the parking lot, red with the Toyota red-yellow body striping decal and bronze wheels, rooftop rack and just massive!
Wonder what Mike thinks of LC Engineering, since I was looking at their 2TR street header with equal length 1-5/8" collector tubes (40% more cross section area than stock). Potential future project...
Back to school tomorrow for four weeks until Christmas break... and I'll probably work a day or two during the school vacation as Bob was talking about stripping and waxing some of the floors. Have a great week, all!
