Rain stopped, wind now shifting from the WNW and temp has dropped about 10 degrees in an hour. Just used the leaf blower on front porch walkway and driveway to help expedite drying so it's not a skating rink in the morning.

Lost power again ten minutes after shutting everything down.. start the gen back up and get everything situated again, got a two hour movie in, and within one minute of the end of it the power and internet comes back on.
Gusts are getting less frequent and like @Sig45 said, its getting nippley out already. Tomorrow should be interesting..

Good Morning. Temp is back up to zero, first time in 36 hours. Supposed to reach 13 today. Yesterday was brutal. Not enough snow to have to get out there.

Sis up on Spruce Head had the ocean in her front yard. That made things hairy. But the tide relented and the wind is less now.

hope ya’ll are keeping the lights on.

 

Just went outside with the dog and surveyed the house, a couple shingles pulled up last night, but otherwise no apparent damage. We got power back by around 9pm, so we weren't in the dark/cold really. 14 degrees this morning, unfortunately we lost all our snow so no white Christmas for us.

No power losses here, but my old TV antenna now has a lean to it. That fuckers been up since the 70's and just now is bent. Guess corrosion is taking its toll. Gotta cut that bitch off in the Spring.

Since we had all that rain and then sudden 5° temps all the trailers at work kept getting frozen brakes. It looked like a friggin' zoo drivers and switcher driver getting them unlocked. Yard is full of tire marks

3rd Gen definitely wasn't happy starting up last night and probably took most of my trip just to get warm. Sure you more Northern folk are laughing, butt we rarely see these temps. 3° here at 6am

 

I am most definitely getting a chuckle of the taco not wanting to start when it's above 0. Good luck with the antenna, try not to get broadcast on the news for sending it through the living room!
