Happy Wednesday, or Monday, or whatever it is to you.

I appreciate ya'll sending your sleep to me! I never sleep, and last night actually went lightsout to lights on 6 hours later. Extremely rare occurence. Hope things change. Sleep matters.

you betcha! I'm annoying the f*^$ out of my co-workers. Applications engineers i depend on for pricing etc to get quotes to customers. Half of the companies we do business with are down...or just not operating normally. Trying to catch up on shit. I appreciate the contribution, Team Stockland!

Mornin folks. My tree took the flying leap the day after x-mas. It was very droopy despite watering it.

Goid morning all. May your decoration dismantling go smoothly, and a favored beverage be waiting at the end of it.

Embrace the day. Tell somebody you love them. Call that friend you haven't seen in a while. Hold the door for a stranger. Smile and be glad you're on this side of the dirt!

Well Folks I'm afraid I may have to leave the thread!
In an effort to repair my truck and get it inspected before my surgery (in 6 days) I have to go to non-stock leaf springs. I know I know!! I didn't want to do it but... also I'm not sure of the OEM springs (see picture) and don't want to do this project again. Just a hint leaf spring remove and replace by ones self is a young mans/women's game.
So if i get voted off the island (thread) I understand. I do take full reasonability for my actions.

There is a little used algorithm section “Crappy Parts”
It is there for situations like this.
When factory parts are crappy, like springs, it is using the words “Improve Design”.
You are not “modifying” a part. Replacing a part with a improved design and still retaining the
“Spirit “ of the stock setup.
When I took over as OP I felt it was my duty to recognize the shortcomings of some of the parts.
Therefore I added this to the algorithm. It still has to be reviewed but precedent is set.
You are safe and continue to grace us with your presence..

Planned dig this morning with a contractor..
“You need to be on site for excavation right?”
“Yes, its over our line. Will meet you there in the morning.”
    “Sounds good”
*digs over our line anyway and parks a dozer on top of it*

Missed us by 14”, I dug down and inspected the pipe and it was fine. I give so little shits right now its ridiculous. Told em its 1,440psi with .38” walls, it leaves no bodies within a 1/4 mile area and they about shit themselves. Cant do anything at this point other than put the fear into em. Live to dig another day.
