Road commission emailed asking if i’d grade the road since ‘its warmed up a little’.. like have you looked out the window? Im not tilling the road into a mudpit.
In other news after three days of wire tracing, Operation Rats Nest is moving along. Was able to locate and disconnect the feeds to the upstairs loft office.
Need to combine two breakers (same room, 3 outlets on one breaker, 2 outlets and the lights on another.. no idea wtf thats about) and run a new feed to supply the loft outlets and lights on their own breaker in the newly emptied spot in the panel. Yall get all that?

Have only electrocuted myself once AFTER I CHECKED WITH MY MULTIMETER AND IT READ 120V. Was like ‘its on? Odd’ *grabs outlet to double check with hand*

Household outlets are a certain number, commercial are another IIRC.
Yea I understand. Play the game, move on.

Oh it reads 120v. Really? Naaaaa can’t be.. so I’ll grab across the neut and power wire to be sure.

If you were a guy I’d ask if you got a stemmie. Not sure how it works with lady folk.

So, I take it you’re ok…. I know it was a brain fart… Let’s not try to have another one…

    On edit:
Why are you involved with road commission?
    Because you have a tractor?
Have them use their own equipment….

So since it’s so crappy up here I got a phone call from my boy.
There are changes to his place of employment and he is going to be required to
wear his hard hat with upgraded colors anytime he’s outside and walking around.
So, since I have a paint booth in my house, and he couldn’t paint it in a garage etc
It's a time constraint issue. Not what it was designed for and made a few tweaks and
painting angles and it worked real good. Very, very little smell and it came out great.
I wouldn’t want to do it again but it worked..

Hah, I used to work 4 10's 9pm to 7am, but due to friends and family I wound up sleeping like daylight hours on my 3 off. Was a terrible swap of my sleeping. I think I took off 10 years of my life in 2 years. Finally went to second shift, so sleep time is much better.

That'd be rough. My schedule is way more forgiving than that for the swap between nights and days. It just takes me a couple to get it lined out.

120V is nothing. I've done that several times. 277V is where shit gets really tingly. I strictly use insulated screwdrivers now for everything after that incident... :anonymous:
