Oh once we get snow it sticks around for a while. I'm just lazy and hate snow. I also hate my snow blower

It's worthless in anything other than fluffy white powder. Any moisture and it's just useless. I could do the impeller mod to it, but I have other things around the house that need attention (looking at you aging water softener and cistern pump...). This is the unit in question...



Friend bought it back in '08 and never used it so gave it to me. She even admitted it was a POS Better than shoveling, but still aggravating. However the old house the driveway on an incline and the current one is flat, so that will probably help.


Growing up I had an early 90's Ariens with a 7HP Tecumseh that would take anything you threw at it. Unfortunately I had to sell it when I moved to Mississippi back in '06.

Still coming down fast and hard up here. I'm preparing myself for the snowblower slog when I get home. Excited to finally have some real snow though! As long as it doesn't all melt at the end of the week I'll be out doing sled trails this weekend.
