Just as Jon Hubof, owner of Panhandle Helicopters said he'd have to explain to new hire pilots starting on their operations lifting Christmas trees from fields to trucks, "Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast." Those pilots trained to fly for operations in VN are aging out... I enjoyed flying with those guys in SE Alaska, and the last trip of the season back to camp, "Do you want to ride, or do you want to fly?" Always took the latter, fast and low, and when it was following the beach, pop up high before landing on the float at the wannigans (floating camp).

Yesterday was the GF’s birthday. Lazy Sun am as a continuation. Not much planned. Probably watch the game later.

 

My time estimate was a bit off, ended up getting to coffee a half hour early. The "Rav"ioli made good time.

@BananaMan these are 255/40/19’s at stock ride height.

 

Nice! The 19's look big imo on the first gens, but it does fill up the wheel well nicely. Cram a 295/40r19 under there and let me know how much clearance there is

Joking aside I really like the first gens and have almost bought a couple. You said this one is pushing 300k miles right?

 

Haha don’t think the 95’s would fit. I wasn’t planning on getting wheels anywhere near this size but they were $300 wheels and tires so I had to haha. But yeah he’s got almost 363k on him. Still running strong.
