Finally got all the woodworking tools set up. Finishing some coffee and headed out to the garage to measure everything and get the ducting ordered. If its anything near the rough estimate its going to officially be the most expensive purchase yet. Hubs got inundated with work that’ll keep him busy for the next several months so hes out organizing and prepping his cargo trailer for the move or “securing for sea” as we call it.
    And.. its friggin snowing again.
    You?

Got someone coming over to show him a few tricks on lure epoxy.

    That’s about it….

Just got back from 40 miles of trail grooming. Only broke down twice, ran out of gas once, and hit one tree that I swear jumped out at me. Some of the road crossings are tricky with the lack of snow. Here's our SWT pulling a mogul master getting a run up to get up the embankment. It's about six feet high and fairly vertical.

It would certainly do it. I don't know how but we only got 25 miles out of a full tank of gas in that sled. The one I was riding only used a half tank in the same time.

Looks like we'll be starting each week with a little shot of snow then trying for NoDak temps with dry weather warming into the weekends... winter-Spring-Winter-Spring-
winter -Spring - and suddenly Road Construction season! We still have piles of leaves on the ground since the trees finally dropped them in January. I'm still amazed with the new radio, and at how little power it takes Alan Jackson's CD to drive the original speakers. I should change those, but today I changed the 9-volt battery in the keypad man-door lockset on this end of the 8-bay condo garage.
There's a three chicken Welcome sign for hanging near one's door in this week's (mostly estates, I think) online auction....https://auctiondepot.hibid.com/lot/148316132/chicken-themed-welcome-sign?ref=catalog

That chicken sign would be perfect for our local chicken farmer @FlyingWolfe if it said "go away" instead of welcome

Hey Bud! Nothing too bad. I'm back at that kitchen today installing the cabinet hardware and a few other misc items. Later in the week I'm installing a bathroom vanity where I need to hack out part of the back for the baseboard heater (yes they installed one on a wall with baseboard heat). I think the floor dips a bit too. I'll make it look decent. Of course they want to reuse the old faucet/drain assembly. Told them it would be cheaper to just buy new (labor ya know folks).

    What's up w/you this week?

Reusing an old drain assembly... there's some levels of penny wise and dollar fool right there.

Nothing special this week, just my regular 6-5 each day. Saturday is the annual awards banquet for the autocross club so I'll be down in Scarborough for that. I get to hand the rookie of the year award to the new recipient, and catch up with everyone and see what they've been doing in the off season.
