    That took a lot longer than planned. Felt pens are great for wood, but really suck for metal. And with the location on the corner, every time I would sand it I'd re-expose just a bit of metal beneath. Even with 2000 grit. And, finally, though I had given the paint it 2 days to cure, the clearcoat softened it up and pulled some off. I didn't go all the way back to the drawing board, but did have to go back to prime.

    So, it doesn't look great. But the cancer is stopped. And it's 25 years old for goodness sake:
