I like the wind deflector idea.
When the drag bars were put on the Harley, the gauges were raised up 6” from stock location.
After like 45mph. The gauges caused such a buffeting it was actually shaking my head and moving my glasses. So I put on a couple of clamp on’s and lowered the gauges to stock height location.
It worked. “In the wind” is what it’s all about but, buffeting is annoying as f*** and tiring.

 

I sleep through thunderstorms usually… Wierd

Just need a little something to deflect the wind over my head. We did 330 or so miles last Friday I got the snot beat out of me over 40mph, whole body hurt the next day like Id been in a brawl. If you asked me ten years ago if Id slap a windscreen on a Diavel id have scoffed at ya but idgaf about ‘looks’ at this point. Im gonna old-lady the shit out of that thing if it makes it comfier. Pilot friend’s wife gave us those little HD road gremlin bells. Ive been sporting it, whatevs.

You'll have to excuse me for not putting a windshield on the enduro, though it is an excellent example of the wind buffeting nearly making my hat take flight.

 

That thing doesnt go fast enough for long enough to warrant one

 

It'll maintain 45-50 on flat ground. But it's a gutless pig going uphill. Any lengthy uphill requires 3rd or 2nd

 

Are we talking about a bike or squatted trucks here?

 

Every 8lbs is one HP. Start dieting..

 

Is that math accurate-ish? If this diet wins I'm gonna gain so much HP!

Have Crystal do a fly by at Mach 2 on the Italian Stalion.

 

Heading back through windham again. Had to pull both driveshafts because the transfer case is locked up. Fun times!

 

Hell, you could have put that little thing in the bed!
