Loring must be a great place in run...long and wide so course layout flexibility. I ran mostly in Connecticut or New York but occasionally at Fort Devens in Ayer, MA. Lotta room, fast layouts.

I forgot to take pictures, but the carbs have been taken off and had new jets/needles/float seats put in. Hosed down and blown out with carb clean. Back together and about to see if we can get the battery to hold enough charge to let us jump start it.

"I love it when a plan comes together." (Was it George Peppard on "The A-Team" that said that?)

We'd like to trade some of this high heat (not baseball) 11 AM Monday to 11 PM PDT Thursday for some of that rain... https://forecast.weather.gov/showsi...essive+Heat+Warning&lat=47.7314&lon=-116.8007

Except when a B-52H makes a rare visit back to an old SAC base... Nice feature they have is being able to change lanes without turning, thanks to the crosswind landing gear. :D

That was really cool to see the footage of them landing that plane on the runway last year. Must've been one rough ride though! The runway is very cracked and uneven after all these years, we can only use one half of it because of the shape it's in. I can't believe the land speed guys use it! You can see here where we used it last year. The one lighter area is concrete, and that has twice the grip of the pavement like the rest of the area.

C5 Galaxies use to do touch and goes in Portland. I was pretty close to the airport at work.
It was AMAZING to see these things fly. They were so big, seemed so slow it looked like they would fall out of the sky. And LOUD..
    I can’t imagine a B52 coming over…

    Afternoon all you stockish people.
Just came back from the lake.
    I slayed them today.

Best day in 3 or 4 years.
    After 15 I stopped counting.
