Friday appointment for 180K mile service. Diffs & T-Case fluids, spark plugs, tire rotation. Timing also worked out for new front rotors and pads (been getting 60K). I did oil/filter change, air filters and greased the drive shafts.

That'll be a fun bill. Damn spark plugs alone are getting expensive as all hell.

    :fingerscrossed:

I checked my last one at 150K (excluding brakes of course). Price was $250. I did provide the 6 qts of gear oil. Pretty reasonable. I'm guessing $300-$500 for the brakes. Glad this only happens every 4 yrs.

How much are your oil changes running you? I priced out synthetic Mobil 1 oil and filter for my tundra a week ago and the total was over $90 for eight quarts and a filter.

$25ish for the 5qt jug of PP HM 5W-30 and filter is like $6 I think (all at Walmart). I buy a qt of oil for the extra 1/2 quart. So under $40 for each change.

Ran a string through my underground cable tube yesterday with a vacuum.
Ran a weed whacker string from it through this morning. Getting ready to run a cat5 cable into the garage.
Sick of not having cell reception.
Tried an extender and still hadn’t a strong enough signal.
    Enough is enough.

I take it to an independent Toyota shop. @Tacoma Mike knows the owner. I asked if they use OEM rotors and pads and he said they've not had good luck them. Lots of squeaking he said. He told me what brand they prefer and I have a friend of a friend who is the manager where they sell em. He gave me 25% off on the rotors & pads. The shop was totally OK with me doing that.
