My son's been assigned to a job at Maine Medical Ctr in Portland. Commuting from Dover, NH. Sounds like he'll be making the run for a while. Fortunately his Soob get's decent mileage. 6'7" beanpole in a white Impreza. Go easy on him, Wolfe. He's a good kid.

Not really. As I said, he's 6'7". Can't get compfortable on a motorcycle. That's one of mine....or was. Sold it last month, trying to pare down. Went from 5 - 4, all Guzzi all the time.

Hoping to build one out for him at some point. you ride?

Haven't ridden in years other than a quick spin on friends bikes. Stay on four wheels these days (Porsche 911)
There's a guy in the Connecticut BS thread that's a Goose jockey.

May have to make my way over there. CT is home to one of the better Guzzi wrenches in all of North America. Absurd that the community is so small that I know that, but I do. Hamlin out of Bethel CT. Good guy and great mechanic. Because of that I understand there's quite a few Guzzi's in CT. The scene grows in areas where there's mechanical support, and those areas are few and far between. I know I pop in on the Motorcycle BS thread on here and Guzzi's are an anomoly.

    kudo's on the 911. That's a serious commitment.

Speaking of bikes, I kicked that scooter that Kawasaki calls the ninja down the road. Buddy got his license last year and was looking for a learner bike, so I sold it to him for exactly what I had into it.

He ended up liking the mostly full fairing look, but went with a different headlight/gauge cluster.

nice. Did you ever get that CB fueling issue resolved? I'm so jealous of the roads you get to run. It's a bit of work for me to get to some real riding. I've been going to the trouble since getting the GRiSO. My god I love that bike. new seat, new MAP in to the ECU. I've already got one camping trip in on it. I'm in love. Can't do BDR type stuff, but other than that its a do all hooligan/twisty/touring machine. Think it's convincing me to sell a couple more bikes and focus on racking up the miles on it alone.

I still haven't figured that out. I kinda wore out my energy and pocket book last year on fixing that bike, so hopefully next summer I'll be ready to tackle it again
