5.7 liters = 5700 cc my non metric friend. And it can be ft lbs or lbs ft. Both are acceptable.

    And evenin' Mike....

    @Tacoma Mike

    I Force V8 = 5563 CCs....which is rounded up to 5700 CCs, which makes it 5.7 liters.

For you non metric type, that equals 346 CID. 'Murica dammit. :D

I always hated metric. It's a great way for them to hide the increase in gas taxes.

Hey all. Recently joined the group by buying this beauty on Monday. Brought it to my friend's shop so I could inspect it on a lift. It didn't break in half so that's good. The more I drive it, the more I live it. Glad I chose a Tacoma.

Welcome Sam. Beautiful rig. Silver was one of the colors on my list and was my 1st Taco's color.

You're one of the few Limiteds prepresented here too.

Hopefully for the current graduates the money their classes accumulated will be safe and earn plenty of interest. Imagine the blow out 5 year reunions they will be able to have.

Meijer is discontinuing selling Liquid Wrench rust inhibitor. I bought 'em out. This will give me 10 cans total. Should last me awhile. But eventually I'll have to source a new location.

    I reject your claim..
I deal with this crap metric all the time

Plus when I watch racing and they spit out 350 kph
I’m trying to conversion in my head.
    I will never be metric.

And pound ft is like they switched it just to piss people off.
    AND IT DOES... lol

    Ok sir.
    On vacation this week.
Building mega cabinet for the garage to free up floor space
Been picking at it for 3 weeks
Have two more doors to build to finish that phase.
Very pleased with my building skills.
    Been a while...
Some fishing will be involved also.
Mega hot here with severe t/ storms warning.
Just finished prepping the cars in the garage for it..
    Extremely heat and humidity
    With real feel over 100°.
For us with humidity it’s like 125° for us.
    I’m toast for the day...

Yeah....hot humid days are par for the course down this way. You get accustomed too it if it's all you've ever known.....but never really used to it.

I'm sure summer can make for some uncomfortable times turnin' wrenches in the shop too.

Years ago I saw temp around 110° in my bay in a corner with no circulation.
Now they have turned us into pussies with ac. However I still show my stuff when it
dies and the temps get up there. It makes for good work conditions for pounding out work but it
Makes it Twice as bad since we aren’t use to it and everyone melts...lol
