Thanks! First time we've had an event in bangor in about four years, incidentally it was my first ever autocross so it was great to finally come back to where it started and lay it down.

 

You're gonna have to start recording videos so we can watch you tear it up.

 

I got a couple on the first day, but my GoPro wouldn't turn on yesterday for some reason. This event is a bit slower and smaller, I was only hitting 45-50 mph and overall run times were in the mid 30's. I'll see what I have that's worth uploading in a bit.

 

Alright, I felt bad about cluttering up the "stock" thread with racing and modified stuff. So I made a thread to dump my racing/mod's media sharing in.

My GF has had medical issues this year and basically has been laid up since May. Summer was a complete wash as far as summer stuff is concerned. She informed me a couple weeks back I was taking her camping this past weekend. Yes, ma'am. Turned out to be a veritible sauna...but what are you gonna do?

Test prepping for my Journeyman test. Two years out of school and struggling to navigate it where ive forgot most of it, gonna be fun..

 

Crazy how you can have somebody who can do the job and do it well, but they'd fail the basic test, isn't it?

Had that in multiple jobs in the past. At one they started implementing tests for hiring and all of a sudden no applicants were qualified. Took a lower manager giving the test to all of her people (best performance in the district) and a 90% failure rate among them before corporate pulled their heads out of their asses.

 

Went out for dinner with the wifey tonight to the place we had our first date. Sadly they have fallen victim to "smash burgers are best burger" and no longer offer a normal, properly medium rare, decent damn burger. If you don't want your meat well done, they tell you to order something else. This is the third place I've had to cross off my list of decent food joints because of this awful trend.

 

Well done is the only way….

Easier to hide poor quality meat behind charcoal flavor is my guess. I want a thick burger when I want a burger. I don't even order burgers anymore, aside from fast food for convenience on the road. Nobody bothers to made a good one anymore.

 

When I was in Germany they aren't allowed to cook it medium! By law they must cook it well done

 

They poisoned enough people in the 40's that they got it out of their system.
