    Morning
Been raining up here so much nothing dries out.
Started mowing lawn after a month.
Had to mow around garage 3 times while it dried out.
Push mower did not like it. I did not like it.
Usually 1/2 tank of gas does all the push mowing I need.
2 tanks this time. Maybe one more time. More than likely 2 times on the rider today.
I may break protocol and not even pull the whacker out and say fuck it and wait till next week to do it all again …..
    Try that with an electric….

    Enjoy yourself this weekend.
    Be smart, be safe.
TY for being part of this thread.

I'm beat. Probably shouldn't have taken on this deck job. It's a lot for one. Also have to mow today.

I was wiped out yesterday myself.
Does look like something bigger than you normally do.

There's been some challenges. For example. I have this awesome deck board bull bar that works awesome removing the boards. However, this decking was so bad/rotten the nails all stayed in the joists. And they used stainless steel ringshank nails. I had to remove every single one by hand with a shorter pry bar.

Also- I can't be trusted to go to any antique/estate sale.

I'm coming home with a 3 phase big ass bench grinder. They said it's been sitting there on a pallet all year, so I offered them half of the asking and they took it.

After the last summer day of school custodial work, and the return of hot weather yesterday, I'm beat, too. I kidded Custodian Bob with "Thanks for letting me do the art project!" Clearing mud, oak and maple seeds that accumulated around every storm drain on the flat roof with a (narrow) putty knife, large garbage bags, and my fingers. I did most of the finger painting getting the mud into the bags. I tried out replacing filters in the air handlers on the roof, as Bob had me try to install one before explaining that he called the District's HVAC guy to explain how it's done. "You shouldn't have to bend the filters," he said, so Bob invited him to try it. Have to give the guy credit for showing up to try replacing the filters, and telling Bob to just do it the way he does it, folding the filter to get into the compartment and unfolding it to fit without hitting the radiator grating. Back to evening shifts Tuesday; 75 days 'til Christmas break... My only early morning work will be as a volunteer tech for Sunday morning services. Barcelona Red went to Hippo Car Wash yesterday afternoon, so the exterior and the door and hood gaskets are no longer sticky (sap from downtown trees?) and wiped down with silicone spray when I returned home.
Happy and relaxing Labor Day to all... and coffee (Doma Coffee, roasters in Post Falls, use a Volkswagen Combi, a Vanagon style pickup!)

Sooner had his first ever beach day. He liked it pretty well, although he struggled with the waves knocking him back each time he tried to jump in. He did not enjoy the outdoor shower when we got back to the house though. Bath good- shower bad.

Speaking of livestock, police in Norfolk, Nebraska pulled over a former police cruiser that had been modified to carry a bull. https://www.theepochtimes.com/epoch...t-bull-riding-in-front-passenger-seat-5485012
I remember when police officers were known as "bulls" and I doubt any would want to dance with this Watusi. I hope that no offense was taken by any officers encountered since the car won the award as "Best Vehicle Entry" in the parade. I can see Mike and Sig45 working up a trailer-borne version of the "Garage Mahal" parade entry, built around one of the cars inside...

Up at 3:45am on work days. Try and be out the door at 4:10am... So, I set the alarm to be up at 5:30 to not throw my schedule off too bad...

    Morning
    Wakie Wakie

    Get your asses in motion.

Dam lawn looks pretty good after 3 times on the garage hill.
2 times on rest if it.
    Didn’t trim.. Don’t care.

I am doing an experiment with retractable ratchet straps for my boat.

    IMG_7150.jpg

Here is a list of the channels unavailable that Disney pulled just after I installed my tv.
Fuckers.. I watch most of them. So now I’m paying for something I can’t watch.
    IMG_7151.jpg

I may ask for a rate cut. Going to start making a tv guide of my own cause I’ll never remember how I got there by surfing. I found a few channels I always wanted for free.

Bowling season starts this coming week.
Furnace guy I hope will visit and install my new radiators within a couple of weeks.

    Oh boy

    BOO BERRY FOR BREAKFAST..

    IMG_7153.jpg

    Have fun people.
    Well except for @FlyingWolfe.
    She’s stuck doing roof shit..
    Sorry…
