headed to nashville for two days of meetings. woot. they call it redneck riviera, more like a poor mans vegas imho. open trailers pulling drunk bridal parties down the middle of the street, and crowded AF.

Husband slid off the roof. I was on the scaffolding and grabbed onto him to stop him but he was going so fast that we both went over the side about 12’ down.. so that was a great start to the day. He was in the process of installing the cleat for us to tie ouselves off to at the peak ironically.

 

I hope the fuck you two are ok..

 

Hes scraped up from the platform (shin, ribs, elbow, shoulder) but otherwise okay. I tucked trying to not land directly on top of him and knocked the wind out of myself and fucked my thumb up (again).
Not bad for 36 and 49 years old though. Still got some bounce in us.
