Suction leg of my lift station was obstructed. This brush made it through that strainer and had lodged in the suction flange on the pump. a day in the life.

Sup folks. Thank goodness for good neighbors and past bosses. (Bonus points if they're both) Wife and I are leaving on a jet plane at 5 am from Portland on Friday. Our dog sitter just cancelled today because her family decided to surprise her and show up this week. (Of course, that's how the universe works) Luckily my neighbor two houses down turned out to be an old boss I had in college and am good friends with. He saved my ass and is looking after the dog all weekend. Got some mead coming for him as a thank you. What all is everyone else up to this weekend?

 

Not sure yet.
Might get the Ferrari back from the shop.
Might get the trans back from the specialist.
Might mow the lawn.

 

Leaving Saturday for my annual fall fly-fishing trip up in Baxter State Park. Returning Thursday. Weather is looking nice and fall like with day time temps in 60's and night time Temps in 40's.

 

You pick this weekend to do every amazing thing? I see how it is... might have to come visit you Oct. 6th....
