I wish I had pictures of the boats I used to build. The electric panel was a work of art. Panel box was polished stainless steel.

 

Yea I like wiring like that with parallel, straight, individual wires etc.

 

The Captains on this boat were pretty cool. It was a 95’ sport fishing boat, l worked in the pilot house. Got to know the captains pretty good. These boats took a year to build. They would sea trial them obviously. We go up the Kalamazoo River, turn around in town-Saugatuck, then out to Lake Michigan. The boat had 2 captains, navigational captain, and fishing captain. That’s me on the fly bridge with the 2 captains, Mike the electrical genus. I got to go to help moor the boat. Thrill of my lifetime and I was getting paid to do it. You can imagine what the electrical panels looked like on a 2 million dollar boat back in the late 80’s

 

You even idiot-proofed the interlock with the step-by-step stickers. My hero!

It blew off the porch/cistern tank twice last year. Not doing that again. Still have to weld it back into position. Used it all summer kinda crooked

Birthday weekend in the books. Spent yesterday outdoors, swingin' a maul. Still trying to burn through the summers wind damage. Felt great...while I was at it. This morning, not so much.
