Heard shit snapping and crashing when it was dark but nothing of mine.
Oh yeah, monsoon rain as well.

 

Yup. Hubs is hiding his Tundra in the carport behind mine. Just had a big assed branch come down in the driveway next to it. Supposed to peak around 12-1pm.
Fevers up to 101° today and feel even worse, thought I was over the hump yesterday. Fml

Yea the power blinked twice around 10pm last night but the power stayed on. Right across the road power is still out. Weird how the power layout is around here. I'm just thankful for having power since I have a well.

 

So now it's a wonder I have cable/internet. Just looked out front and it looks like there's some telecommunications wires flapping around on the pole across the road. Not big enough for power I don't think. I know the wind storm isn't as bad as yous guys farther north, but still windy. Scanner has been going off like crazy since I woke up at 5:30am.

 

I guess I didn't batten down the hatches quite well enough. Just lost part of the ridge cap off my roof, 20+ shingles flapping and partially ripped off, and the flashing down the back side of my house is gone. Yay insurance claims....

 

Our lights have flickered a few times…

Could be worse, I've seen a couple houses with trees on them. Small blessings I guess
