I don’t like the newer ones a whole lot. Limited are not too bad though. Is it just me?

I know you explained your rounds fired noise. Woods near-by, etc. All good.

I hear shots every so often and they are not so good. They're not regular, but still there.
About two months ago I heard a full magazine get expelled. I counted them = 30.
The problem is - there are no woods near-by.

Near map center, there's a wee P in a circle, close to Chick Fila, (kind of grayed out). That's where I am when I hear these weapon discharges.

Not a very steep pitch? My breezeway is all ice/ water shield and is a 5-6 pitch. Other side of garage is not though. Just 3’. Main roof is 6’ of ice/water shield.

New ones are FUGLY. And I'm sticking with the last of the proven tech/V8, versus the new twin turbo nonsense.

My house is a Cape so the front roof is very steep. But the dormer which is 28’ by 16 ‘ is almost completely flat . That roof has a torch down rubber roof . The rear lower roof over the patio and mud room / laundry room is almost flat also with architectural shingles like the rest .

I roofed for years and thankfully got out. I’m sure you’ve seen this done before. Covering up problems and not addressing them. I had my roof done this April. Probably had a few years left on the 3 tab asphalt but I wasn’t risking it. Very happy with how it came out.

Mine is a cape as well with a 8 pitch at least. We are thinking of a shed dormer as well and adding another bathroom. Definitely a waste of 20 square but :notsure:

My brain can't determine what they look like, let alone trying to describe it in words.

That truly is a bull shit thing to do. Probably wanted to save the $ on the job to get the job done. I’m glad you are skilled at this and can get it done .
I would have done mine but no staging and not being interested in lugging 21 square at 55 years old

I do have an actual reason for visiting though…..

Is it that much of a PITA to change out a belt tensioner on this? I have new OEM pulleys and tensioner ready to go

Ok, this could be a long post on roofs..

Told my wife a wanted a new roof. Can’t it wait? I don’t wanna. Ok, get prices. Ya.Called former boss no longer in business. Says he can beat any price but no insurance and I’m responsible for cleanup. No.

First price I got was absurd at 23k for 21 square :jerkoff:. Guy was trying to tell me that because the roof boards had a 1/4” space or more that I needed to re sheetwhole deck ( per code )at $100 a sheet :luvya::jerkoff:. I knew better but called building inspector and they said ,wut!?
Next price I cut to the chase and he said that guys a crook. I know I said. He beat it by more than half. Third price slightly higher. So I made my decision.
Then my wife said an old family friend is still in business and he did it for 8k.
Every chance I get to let people know about this scare tactic I do
