Had to run a new wire for the stove to re-route under the house and found this gem from the prior owner. An entire roll of electrical tape in the knockout rather than a connector. Run it.

    I had I think 5 or 6 like that.
I’m down to 2. They certified it so not worried.
I do have 2 knockouts I added without the clamp but they are induction sensors so again, not worried.

Yup. Just wrapped up round 3. Not worth snowblowing with the wind direction.

Happy Sunday folks. Patriots are mercilously almost able to hang it up for the year. Never imagined I'd relive the early 80's like this. Brutal.

Looks like it's got some time left. hope you're all doing well. Lift with your legs!

20221109_092556[1].jpgAuto stripper with a cutter. Sounds like a USCGC thing. No, I did not ask the new electrician while we were installing new outdoor lamp posts what happened during his USCG service when he was tasked to do some welding on a boat/ship and clipped his ground clamp to the hull. (Suggested by the more senior company electrician to me as he left shortly after the kid arrived to help with the more corroded old posts. <G>)

Hell of a ground I guess. We have those strippers at work, dont have a use for them and they arent the greatest. We use the hand helds for the smaller stuff and over a certain size we just bust out the milwaukee cable strippers because we have soft hands.
