I do that too, but the auger design leaves a lot to be desired. It was free from a friend (and even then they admitted it was horrible) and half ass works so it stays around.

 

Cleanup completed. Roof raked, then snowblowed everything that fell. Did about 48" (2 passes) around the perimeter. Decks, porches, walkways and driveway GTG.

 

Good morning stockland. Hope everyones safe n sound. Got a dusting here in Indy as it passed through. Stuck around most of the weekend but wouldn't really get cold enough to keep it. I'm jealous of those getting an honest to goodness winter!

 

Negative, figured I was using it this morning. Shut the fuel off once I saw it was leaking.

 

I’d just shut it off and run it dry to be honest.

That's what I've been doing for a while now. After dumping an entire tank of gas on the garage floor (and filling the crankcase full of gas) at the last place I installed a shutoff.

edit: on closer inspection I do see that it's just about the entire body harness.

Last time I was in that position we brought out the taillights and headlights and had absolutely everything we could plugged in. It was kinda fun seeing the whole nervous system laid out and working.

 

Yeup we were activating systems tonight getting ready to reinstall.

 

That’s actually all they were known for when they were the winningest marque in Europe. Horizontal singles. Europes oldest continuously operated Moto company and only first introduced a twin in ‘67. Now that transverse twin is what they’re known for. That’s a beautiful old machine.

Some of the news cams show the local downtowns, a couple of the towns have heated “main” streets, pretty neat. I wonder at what point it can’t keep up.
