My pond hasn’t shown up in the spring in years. It’s there now…

 

I need to get back into it. I haven’t fished seriously since 08, hopefully retiring gives me more time.

 

It's part of my retirement plan in 5 yrs. Tapping my IRA (former 401K) at 59 1/2. I'm considering selling everything, buying a Winnebago Ekko and traveling the country for a couple years fly-fishing.

 

I've had two sets of the AT3's, non LT. One set was perfect and the other wouldn't balance worth a darn.

Gonna put tires on my truck next year and am decided between the new Discoverer Road+Trail AT or the Rugged Trek. Maybe a set of Sumitomo Encounter AT. All three tires are severe snow rated. After last weeks snow driving with the factory Goodyears I was reminded how much I didn't like them. Was going to get a set this year, but the Camry needs tires first.

-4 here when getting up. 14# puppy none too happy about standing in the snow to do her business. Trying to hold her feet off the ground while doing her business.

In another 10 lbs she'll play in the snow like ours is. (Or was when we had snow... )

 

@Sig45 just got given this table base by my boss. It originally had a glass top, but that shattered somehow at some point. Any chance you have some slab of wood kicking around that I could turn into a top? It's 32" in diameter.

As my wife put it- "this could be one giant charcuterie board!" Lord I hope it doesn't turn into that, but it could make a nice enough island for our kitchen.

Negative. I dont have anything that size. My old flight instructor has a shitload of slabs at his place though if youre interested. Nice stuff too. Chinese Elm, Cherry, Walnut, etc.
