How do you like that cab configuration?

I confess I've been looking at trucks myself.

LOOKING. Mine is so dialed in, the thought of passing it on makes me nauseous. So many little improvements etc. I love it. Hitting 150K soon and needs may dictate.

Personally I really like it. But I've also got the absolute base model, no cubby organizers under the rear seats, drop down bench seat in the front, column shift instead of the minivan shifter. It can fit grown adults in the backseat with no issue, and I can definitely pack a ton of crap back there. Lots of room under the back seats, I've got jumper cables, tire iron, come along, maps, and a backpack full of ratchet straps with still some more room left for other stuff. A bonus of the bench seat is I can put up the middle section to keep dogs in the back seat

Didn't realize the column shift option. That's nice. Seems throwback! Can't recall the last car I owned with column shift.

Found this shot...that ctr console is a ctr seat. Got it. Have paid zero attention to Tundras. Forgive my childlike wonderment.

No worries. The downside is that the center "console" is the only cup holders up front if you don't count the door pocket ones. So to have a drink in easy arms reach you need to have that console down. Why they did away with the fold out/slide out ones like the first gens beats me.

The true downside is the smaller fuel tank, but that wasn't an option until 2016 model year. Not sure what year yours is.

The bench and column shift is a rare combo in anything above the base trucks, but even the base Tundra is a stout and reliable rig. It'll serve you well for many years to come.

Smaller fuel tank? It's a 26 something gallon tank... the option for the 32/35 whichever it is was more than I felt necessary. I get almost 400 miles per tank as it is.

The larger tank is 38 gallons. Absolutely essential if you tow with that thirsty V8.

If I need serious capacity with this truck for towing, I'd just do an auxiliary tank in the front of the bed. The extra 10 gallons isn't really worth it in that case imo

Totally understandable if you love the column shift and bench. I'm in the opposite boat. I like a center console and floor shift, so the bigger tank was a must for me.

Mission aborted. Undercarriage showed way too much rust than a 3yr old truck ought to have imo.

They'll be more. All the 2021 leases will be ending as the year progresses.
