G’morning. Bunch of campers coming in today. One arrived yesterday, tomorrow should be crazy based on news reports. Don’t recall this amount of excitement about an eclipse before

Should have been in Wyoming for the last one. They almost crippled the cell service in the state because it wasn't designed for the massive influx. At least we won't have to deal with it again for years and years after this one. Well, not in The States at least.

mine of the PSA’s in Indy has been to be prepared for cell service failure. Telling travelers to have paper maps in their cars because the GPS/cell service will likely be compromised. The conspiracy theorists are in heaven.

Sold the tires on the Tundra that were installed by the dealership...$500. These Venom Power Terra Hunter Mud terrain XL load monstrosities. They go for about +/- $200 each from my limited research. Covered 1/2 of the new ones. Not too bad.

Just ordered some General Grabber ATX in 275/60/20. One size taller and XL load versus Standard load for a little extra durability. Didn't want load range E with such a short/narrow sidewall with the 20's. Would ride like a forklift. The buyer is waiting until I can swap them out. Hoping they'll arrive this week.

Back when I bought my Tacoma I ran 2 sets of Grabber AT2's (SL) in stock size. Was very happy with them.

Those Grabbers might be my next set of tires. They changed the Coopers I run and I honestly wasn't happy with the depth of the siping anyways. Probably early next year I'll get a set.
