You young pups think you’re immune to sprains and strains. When you get my age, everything you do is harmful. Lol..

Ugh. You're too young for that kinda stuff.

Use elders though, well that's a different story.

It’s a very slow, calculated, set of movements. If you stand up, and don’t fall, it’s a win..

    On tap today.

Hook up the sweeper and run the property.
    Put the Gen away.
Organize the shed and put the primary blower away.
    Install the mower deck.

Have to do a final polish on two sets of bowling balls I’m reconditioning..

So, no tweaked backs allowed today.
    What cha all doing today???

Took advantage of a rainy Thursday to do my spring detail on my truck...

    upload_2024-4-14_6-10-23.png

Had a few dry days lately so spring yard stuff is caught up. Until the deck furniture comes out of the shed not much I can do in there. Did get the lawnmower oil changed and a trip to the transfer station in. I wish they'd let you pick the metal pile...there was a nice lateral file cabinet that would have been great for garage storage

Yea, I have two in the back yard.
I have a tamper to level the ground and I walk out every once in a while to see if I can see activity.
I have a pitch fork strategically placed for the opportunity.

Eghhhh, not really. Mine all started around 30... Working in industrial will mess you up. Used to jump on and off of stuff, carry heavy crap, etc. without care. Now I plan things out more... :anonymous:

2 correct replacement tires arrived yesterday. I'm hoping I can get installed tomorrow and sell the take-offs. Will require a little rescheduling of work, but gotta get it done. Then I can sell the take-offs and be done with it.

I've been waging war on skunks ravaging my lawn. I'll have some repair (loam and seed) to do later in the month. I don't see any signs of grubs, so I think they're just "looking". They're eluding the have-a-heart traps, but I did get up a few times the other night and was able to dispatch one with my 22 pellet rifle. Though that was the end of it until more digging the next morning. And hoping to get entire lawn raked by EOD tomorrow. As much as I clean it up in the fall and mow low, mother nature has a way of depositing debris over the winter, plus it's a form of de-thatching.

Last year I started using one of those SunJoe electric dethatchers...been a real time and back saver. You still have to rake up afterwards, but it's all loose stuff sitting on top.
