Thankfully I'm not taking part in this one. More so trying to make sure he doesn't make stupid decisions that get him in big trouble legally or lifespan wise.

 

That's what good friends are for!

 

I'll take that! (I'd also like to think it shouldn't take too many brain cells to think of some of the things he's glossing over)

 

If you need photos of a crashed ultralight and hospital bills for him to remind him to not be an idiot let me know. (And an autopsy report to really seal the deal).

 

I can't even be sure that would slow him down. He sent pictures of one of these models being involved in an accident and lawn darting from 400 agl. All proud of himself saying "this was worst case scenario and they only had a broken leg so it's pretty much safer than riding a motorcycle."

He's a special kind of stupid. Same guy who had a brake pad seize, so he just took the caliper off and thought that would be fine to drive home. Thankfully he posted about it and I called him in time to tell him the piston would pop out first time he hit the brakes and he'd lose all brakes. "I really don't think it can travel that far.... but I'll keep that in mind!"

 

I see no way this ends well.

 

Our friend group currently has a morbid bet going on if it kills him or just seriously maims. We're doing our best to keep him alive.

 

In other news, tick season has started.

Yep, found another one on the dog yesterday. I gotta remember to check for them constantly now.

They're predicting a bad year with the mild winter we just had.

 

Biggest downside to an all black dog. Finding ticks is nearly impossible. We use the strongest tick medicine for these guys that the vet allows, our older adoptee had Lyme disease when we got him.
