    ROFLMAO.
Honestly, I find if they have a plan, it’s a lot easier.
    Shopping list.
Like he wants eggs and dog food and soda.
Beeline to the egg walk in, across the frozen section to the soda. Back towards the doors for dog food. Out the door.
He has a harder time walking. I think I might have a fast pace so he need so chase me a little.
Then I can yell at him and take his mind off the people.
    Yea, that will do it.

I'm wiring in a remote control for our bedroom ceiling fan today. I'm too lazy to get out of bed to change speeds plus it will also be on a timer.

I'm having to add a light to the ceiling that was never there. They switched one outlet to plug a lamp into for light and it's just not adequate. Have to fish wire in a couple spots to accomplish said task. Unfortunately the central AC unit is right where I need to do the bulk of the work so that's gonna be fun. I wanted to do a metal box for a ceiling fan, but there's just no way I'm wiggling my fatass in the eve of the house to get in there. They have those expansion kits, but I honestly am going the lazy route

I wouldn't have gone through this effort of getting the room together, but I made the decision several months back to have grandma move in here for her last years so we can keep a watch on her and have a nice place to stay instead of those shitty retirement deals. Added a half bath and everything. My house has been blown apart for a couple months now :goingcrazy:

When I originally put in the ceiling fan there was no overhead box so had to run wire to a new box and then down the wall for the switch. Fortunately that was before we had central air so I had that going for me.

Good on you for being such a considerate caregiver for Grandma. Admirable.

hello my bruddahs. (that includes you Wolfie)

ugh. that's all I have to say. Just slammed. Not getting to much other than work and personal hygene. Did manage to run the GRiSO yesterday. She's been laid up since December when my buddy took a low speed dump on her. Took forwever to get thiings addressed, and I was wondering what malfunctioned to cause the accident. Well, clearly, it was my buddy. Bike ran flawlessly. stings even worse. When I thought the bike had thrown him somehow (warped rotor or something) I felt responsible. I think time and 5 and a half decades of smoking weed is catching up to him.

Anyway, she rewarded me for my patient reboot. Polished headers, fully tuned, and ready to rip. Hitting the dragon in a month, and getting paid mileage by work for the honor. Work it!
I know you guys are tired of seeing it, but I love this machine. Her name is Pearl, for obvious reasons.

That’s a difficult decision, my mother in law is in a memory care facility. It’s what she wanted, she didn’t want to burden anyone. Fortunately it’s a pretty nice facility and my wife and sister in law know some of the staff personally. But the cost is insane, however the VA is helping.

Yea I initially was looking for places around here and they're ungodly expensive. There was no other option in my mind. Do I totally 100% like it, to be honest no. I do feel it is the right thing. At 90 years old she's pretty sharp still and just had a hip replacement done. She even still drives. Mother rode with her the other day and said she still drives pretty good. She absolutely rips in that little turbo VW she has

Right? it's a mixed situation. On a Sunday Morning in June, if the weather is good, the Dragon is more likely to resemble a parade than the road it is. I've never been. So I'm just thankful that I'll get paid to run it, enjoy it for what it is. The reality is that there are no bad roads anywhere in that part of the country, so the getting in and getting out will likely be the better riding. The situation is our Biennial sales meeting is being held in Asheville NC. Too close to fly, so I'm driving, which means mileage. Given where it is, I floated the idea of arriving on two wheels, wondering if it might somehow be percieved as bad form, and my boss, god bless him, said, "how could you not??"

So Saturday I'll run Indy to Knoxville, through the Red River Gorge in Kentucky, no slouch in it's own right, then Sunday AM I've got +/- 150 miles of curvy bliss between me and Asheville, and all day to get there. Flip side of the coin is that on Tuesday night, I'll be on the slab, hammering 500 miles straight home on Pearl.
