Thanks! I have the body plugs (16) . Was thinking of a little shot of FF around/in each hole before putting the plugs in.

Let me know when you're less busy.

The TSP should remove the nicotine entirely, and put you back down to the original paint.
That said, what also will work is denatured wood alcohol. It'll dissolve the latex paint and bring the tar stains along with it. You will *have* to wear a respirator, but it is fantastically effective. Test somewhere out of the way so you know when to stop, otherwise you'll go right down to the sheetrock or whatever is underneath. Ammonia works well too, but will just strip off the first layer of the latex paint, thereby removing the tar as well. Not nearly as potent as the alcohol, but it will work.

Damn. Some sexy cars in here this morning.

Happy work week to those digging in this AM.

4 days til I get on the bike for my solo run: Indy to Asheville and back. Lots of loose ends to tie up.

@Sig45 that truck looks good. Big fan of the debadged look.

so…performance? Now that you’re livin’ with it, what do ya think? Which front bench layout did you get(flr shift/column shift)?
I’m still window shopping these trucks hard….

I haven't popped in much lately, been busy with life and wife being gone. Spent yesterday helping a friend fix some of the disaster that was his old 98 Cherokee suspension... that was an adventure. Had to break out the sawzall and cutoff wheel to gain access to broken off nuts in frame brackets.

    IMG_7438.jpg

Then he calls me and says he lost the serpentine in his civic. I told him to check pulleys and make sure something didn't fail, as I head out with tools and a new belt to rescue him. He tells me everything is all good, just needs a belt. I get there and the water pump pulley is sitting with a 10 degree list to starboard. Aka fucked. Go grab a car dolly and tow him home so he can drive his jeep. Get half a mile from home myself, and hit a deer with the wife's car. That old saying... "no good deed goes unpunished." I got most of the panels lined back up, some new parts ordered, and talking to a body shop about a bumper cover today. :annoyed:

    IMG_7449.jpg IMG_7452.jpg

Earlier this weekend, stopped by another friends place to help with cv axles and a wheel hub on his '06 with 230k miles.

    IMG_7424.jpg

To cap off my weekend recap, here's a photo of a local truck that has the experimental "offset" hitch design

@BananaMan what the hell did you do to the deer Gods that they have determined you get to kill one per quarter with whatever you happen to be driving. Egads, man!

Just glad you consistently avoid getting one of your OWN fenders smashed...

    Cheers.

That's the kicker, dang deer didn't do the decent thing and die. It busted the plastic and kept right on going. No venison for me... this is also the second time this exact corner of this car has hit a deer.

Duuuude. Yeah, that's gotta hurt that you see it often. At least he treats it right!

lots of good natured ribbing goes on between the airhead crowd and the Guzzi crowd, but there is no denying those are special machines.

    Nice pic.
The ones I can’t see is the guys that have a top fuel rail in their living room.
    Wheelbase is around 300 inches.
That’s a big friggin living room..
