@Sig45 or anybody else that has a idea for me...

I'm installing a remote control module in a ceiling fan that goes between the ceiling box wiring and the fan motor. Any trick for supporting the fan motor while I'm wiring in the module? If I had four arms I'd be all set...but I don't. Can't rest it on the ladder.

If I’m not mistaken, the last two fans I put in has a hook and the fan hangs from that hook.
Might be a good idea to take the blades off.. but you can work on the wiring while it’s hanging.

Definitely taking the blades off. I'll hope there a hook...its a low profile mount so not sure. If I wasn't so f'n lazy and would get out of bed to turn it on/off or change speed I wouldn't need a solution. And it's directly above our bed so mattress moving.

Just to let you know, they make remote wall switches. Just put the remote receiver on the wall if you can visually see the switch.

    Check out
    Suraielec Wireless Light Switch

    On Amazon.

    Just throwing that out there.

We use the Lutron Pico remotes when customers dont want us demoing their walls. The things are life-changing (I have two in my house).

That one was a pup compared to the one couple weeks ago.
He was hanging around 10 mins before the kid from Frontier hooked up my fiber.
