With her miles, we had a flight to Ireland round-trip for $50 in taxes. Sadly, we had to cancel the trip because we had to replace the roof on the house and we weren't sure how much that was going to cost.

Oppressive Humidity still but not as bad and coming down.

Not sure of my weekend duties. No plan in place.

People bought house across the street. Were there 2 weeks and took off and
haven’t been back since. Like almost 3 months..
Young couple bought house next to me 2 years ago and put some coin into the house.
Shit started happening.
Baby disappeared, dogs disappeared, extra cars showing up.
Mmmmmm they are packing stuff.
Just saw the listing. They are moving.
Bet they are moving back close to family for free baby sitting.. lol.
Going to be nice and quiet around my house.
Will probably have to train the dumbass that moves in next to me.
I hate doing that. Takes years to get them the way I want.

 

Training new neighbors is a long and difficult process, I have new weird neighbors, he’s a cop, she cuts hair. Both are under 30, he told me they paid cash for the house I don’t trust them, just saying

Our newest neighbors have been here since 2001. Prior to that we were "the new people" in 1989. Very stable neighborhood due to late 70's construction and a lot of aging original owners.

Question for you. I've got a attic ventilation gable mount fan that's thermostat controlled. I want to put it on a switch...do I need anything special or can I just use a regular box and switch?

 

Met the guy and his wife across the road at the new place once.
There's a family about a quarter mile in back of me.I see them going back and forth, that's about it.

Big difference from my old place where you can hear your neighbor fart.

We used to be the young happy couple, that young shit sailed long ago. We’re pretty damn happy watching the youngins start their lawnmower and clean their gutters, wow

 

It's a super quiet neighborhood. Everyone except our immediate neighbor is retired, and they only have a year left. No kids around, no lawn mowing in the evening or weekends and a long cul de sac so very little traffic.

 

I grew up in Detroit, 50’ wide lots for blocks and blocks and blocks
