Back when I had dogs (and they were very well trained). They were taught to sit at the door before going in or out and on command (I used "go"). And I always went first. Start with a leash, so if they go break from the sit you can get em right back in the same spot. Make them sit and just stand there opening & closing the door...gets them conditioned to that. It's a series of small steps that build into the desired behavior. Always reward a success.

I'm over here at 60k and just letting it ride... plan on a trans filter and fluid at 100k, same with rear diff.

 

What’s a trans filter ????

 

Almost 44 when I bought it. Almost 3k on the mini vacation/trip home.

 

I think I'll do the transfer case fluid at 60K. I've read it calls for a straight 75W that's like $100/qt that only Toyota makes?

 

And about to order some new tires for the GB. Probably going to go with new Cooper Road & Trail in SL versus the Discoverer AT in Load Range C. Most likely the last set I'll be buying as I plan on selling or giving to my nephew in 2026 (at the 15 year mark). Just ordered new Denso TPMS sensors from Rock Auto. Sizeable savings compared to Toyota (there's a thread that stated that they're actually the same...who knows).

So I got my $200 woods find unseized and running, as long as I pour gas down the carb. I think it'll run fine once I get a fuel pump. This has been a fun project so far, considering I got to hear it run by the time I had $220 in it. I intend to be driving it to work by the time I have a grand in it...
