Took a drive up through the mountains of Western Maine in the GB. 20+ degree temperature difference. Felt and smelled like fall. There's a small picnic area that I go to every year (since I was 21) and have lunch (sometimes with someone else and sometimes alone...both are fine), often using the little grill near the picnic table. I've never seen another person there. Also stopped at a small bakery roadside stand and picked up a blueberry/raspberry pie. So good....all of it.

I did stop there, only because there were no cars there. I cut my teeth on waterfall photography there way back in the day when cameras still had actual film.

They had mini maple soft cookies, I may have failed to mention that I also bought a few of those.

Oh and the road has been fixed from those washouts last fall. Some long stretches and some short sections. Was pleasantly surprised at the lack of traffic/people.
