My garage is heated, when I got a new door several years ago, going insulated was the only option.

 

Nope, this was just one of the nightmares we had to deal with...

 

My 5 yr plan (when I actually retire) is to move out of southern Maine and into a more rural area. I want a small singe story home built on some land. No spec house thank you. The area around me is rapdily growing and I'm in a desireable neighborhood with the best lot on a quiet dead end. Unless there's some massive real estate correction, the value should continue to increase as thing around me continue to grow/expand.

 

So, my work has locations all over the country and if a position is open I could apply and move. Debating going all in and relocating. Not sure.

 

That offers plenty of flexibility/options. You're fortunate. I'm wanting to stay put here in Maine.

All this garage door talk, I gave mine a once over, new, insulated with windows, 12 years ago. Had the guy fix a broken spring 3 years ago. The edge of one of the galvanized panels is rusting
