Never had time to fish, sorry to dissapoint. Did manage to get the "platform" built and replaced a bunch of stair rail sections. Not an inch of level ground. Had to float the platform on pads as permanent decks are no longer allowed so close to the water. I guess permanent stairs are. :notsure:

heard a number the other day: rain events up 60% for that area. Insane. Be safe!

    Yep.
I'm right in the zone. Narrow area got hammered. I got over a foot of rain and my Sister's town a few miles away got anywhere from 14-16 inches of rain in a few hours. 10-15 miles either side got next to nothing.
State roads are hosed up and closed.

No mini Golf for a while, and there's a State road in there too.

A lot of secondary roads look like this...

    We are fortunate.
We freaked out Sunday night when we had a few puddles in the basement due to 2 cellar window wells filling up until we saw the big picture where people lost everything including 2 fatalities.

    Im personally highly modified.
    New suspension components. (Hip)
    Fuel injection added (insulin injections)
Need a new engine (misfiring a lot the last few years)
Clutch slips (can’t get going sometimes).
I’m afraid my replacement parts are now unattainable.
So I’m going to run this thing into the ground, face down, and every one can kiss my ass.

Good morning Bill and stock crew! The trip went great, had a nice time and the truck did well considering it was up and down grades the entire way there and back. Had a flat tire on the truck in Fort Davis, but other than that, no issues! Mileage was anywhere from 8.7-10.7. Yall have a great day:hattip:

    @bucktales

Damn. Perspective is everything in that situation! Glad you and yours are ok. Tacoma is probably a pretty good vehicle to have. Prius, less so. Although needing little fuel at this point is probably a very good thing.

    Stay safe

There's several gas stations in the area I wouldn't get fuel from due to the flooding.
Went by one yesterday that was getting it's tanks pumped out.
