I have a 21'x22' 2 car garage that works. With careful planning you can make it work. When I'm not working and everything is put up I can still manage 2 vehicles in it

 

I worked out of a cargo trailer for years, game changer for me. I was able to leave it on job sites and secure it and haul more stuff

Can't have anything on the property other than the structure. No Shed. No trailer. Can't so much as lay a canoe along the side. Nada

Exactly. That's my direction. I have Japanese friends. In Tokyo, man, they have crazy solutions to space limitations. Few of them apply to this situation, but it serves as motivation to figure it out.

And I should stress: first world problems. I'm super blessed to be where I'm at. Just whining. I like have one bike to ride and another on the lift in process, to have all my tools and abilities at arms length, and haven't been without all that for a long while. Got lazy and spoiled. But all ya'lls garage postings made me realize I want the problem solved NOW!!!!

So Mike - that generator need is off the table...or less urgent.

Now I think I may need a wood topped tool chest so that my tool storage and workbench can share a footprint. Means mine will go on the block if I decide to go that way. Been collecting those stickers for a loooooong time. lol
