Too dark to fully see damage. More info in am. It was really small, so hopefully minimal. It was loud though.

I had 3 painted (like a fighter pilot) on the side of the tow truck I used. Can’t avoid deer when you’re loaded.
Should have had those tiny whistles screwed to the bumper.

So coming home last nignt around 8:30 in Gray on 202/4 (Mike knows) a very small deer (still with spots) froze in the road. There was heavy Labor Day traffic so no venturing into the other lane to avoid...then THUMP on the passenger side. Found a safe spot to pull over and was surprised to not see any noticeable damage. Walked back and found the deer (waving two blinking flashlights in my hands to avoid getting hit)...people slowed down thankfully. I found it right on the center line. I was able to drag it to the shoulder with one arm. Dead of course. So looking this morning with actual light, there's a big/clean crack in the lower bumper cover (filled with hair) and that plastic piece with the small hole in the bottom was pushed back and the inner fender liner was dislodged (I think the push pins just popped out. Fog light not damaged. Everything metal looks just fine. I took pics and just submitted my claim online with State Farm. Glad I kept my full coverage as my Comp deductable is still only $100. Heading to my preferred shop first thing Tue morning.
