    Shit.
Every Time I do something to this house I see fuckery.
They messed up the hole through the wall.
The put rock hard or epoxy on a chunk of wood they blew out.

    IMG_8316.jpg
so had to get my grinder out to shave it back to open the hole.

    IMG_8315.jpg

So installed and had to fill the vinyl siding. Dam hackers..
    IMG_8318.jpg

Think I have a small piece of vinyl but not sure of an over patch.
Just wish they would have taken more pride in their work.

    Warped door and stuck.

This old house shit. This is my own fault, it was built as a temporary solution 27 years ago. Now another temp fix until spring, then :spending:

This was my solution, all sealed, short run to the dryer. The old one was a mess, another temp fix, hopefully new siding soon.

    I feel it.

my house is small, under 1000 sq ft, but with basement. A 2 x 4 IS 2 x 4 inches and needs a pilot hole for a nail to go in. There is always something broken about it. Rat shack.

When we bought our house new, the garden tub in the master bath started getting small cracks in the fiberglass ... turns out they "shimmed" feet of the tub with caulk ... this discovered after removing a bunch of tile of course. I gots lots of shortcut non-code stories over the 23 years we've lived here. :frusty:

Your fix/correction looks great as always, Mike.

    @Delta09

Adam....my next door neighbor had the same issue as you with his dryer vent....very close to the ground. Originally he had one of these, which might work for you as well. But his wife broke 2 of them off with the lawn mower.

    51AWBy9h4QL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_FMwebp_.jpg

After that I suggested a well liner. That's what he did. Its just a simple galvanized 12" depth liner from Lowes. I also suggested he lay down some weed barrier and throw some rock on top of that. Don't ask about the vent. He kinda jacked that up. But I shall not criticize.

Not only did he jack up the vent, he left his shoe out in the yard

    That sumbitch! :annoyed:

Looks like his old lawn mowing shoes too. I'll have to talk to him about that.

I heard they were very old New Balance shoes that are only used for mowing. But I'll have to ask the ol' geezer that owns them.

    Good solution.

My wife doesn't mow the lawn ... but big galoot that I am, I'd be just as apt to bust it off.

Only "kinda" huh? No score? :boink:
